Simple Design, Lightweight
This mat has a good length and a good thickness for a standard adult. The carry strap is handy and the overall mat is pretty nice. I don’t like that the end is “kinked” a bit- I know it will flatten with time but each time I roll it back up, it’s going to cause the problem to persist. Overall, I feel that this is a good starter mat as it is large, easy to set up and comfortable to stand on. It also doesn’t slide around which is good for the sake of my clumsiness. One weird thing is that even brand new, there’s hand marks all over it.

    I just received this mat yesterday and used it for the first time today. I was a little worried about smell because I've gotten a few different yoga mats that absolutely stunk like chemicals for a very long time. First let me say, I have a nose like a bear…everyone says that because I can smell everything regardless of how faint. This mat had the very faintest of smell. It didn't smell toxic, it just smelled new – nothing objectionable. I stood it in my laundry room still coiled, but loosely, for one day. Then I wiped it down with lysol wipes, just because I'm a germaphobe and my face will be on it. I let it dry and then I used it. Don't let fear of smell keep you from buying this mat. It is a fantastic size, as I could do many positions without hanging off the mat at all. The thickness is decent. It is not very cushiony so if you are hoping for a soft mat, this isn't for you. I don't need soft, but I wanted some decent cushion for my limbs. This is totally fine in that respect. I am very glad I bought this mat and I will use it daily.

This mat is nothing like the mat pictured, it is stiff, rigid and is not flexible or soft as pictured and made of a stiff cardboard-like texture, does not flatten out and cannot be flattened at either end after it's unrolled. The "green" color is not close to the lighter sage green color in the photo , it's a very dark green. I gave this as a gift and cannot return it. Junk, false advertisement. $50. junk rip off

    I like the extra width and the thickness is decent. It's also very grippy when dry, which is important to me. However, I do sweat quite a bit and when it's wet it becomes really slippery. It also stains very easily. For the price I would expect a relatively premium product, but this has some failings.
