The Intermediate Level Module for Wellness and Other Applications is intended to provide candidates and prospective hyperbaric unit personnel with a solid intermediate theoretical, as well as practical knowledge of hyperbaric chamber operations in a clinical, medical or wellness practice, or commercial environment.

Those reading this module should already have read and completed at the very least, the foundation level module, and may now proceed with the intermediate unit module. It is recommended that learners also complete the introduction & overview as well as basic level modules. This unit module is also available as an online course at:

The Intermediate unit Module steps up the knowledge development considerably at this level. It includes in depth material covering physiology, physics, fire and electrical safety, analysis of other resources and publications, regulations, legislation and much more. This unit module also aims to strengthen knowledge and skills in the technical arena and covers subjects such as chamber construction, compliance, maintencae and repair. It includes a significant section on matter relating to materials, fittings, repairs and so on.
Also taking a leap in intensoty are the sections covering physics and physiology with full conetnt lessons included in this unit module.
