Why is there no flow data when liquid passes through the flow meter?

We will check in three steps: 1. Remove the flow meter from the pipeline. 2. Blow air at the turbine to check for blockage. 3. If it spins, check the display. If there’s data, the flow is too low; if not, the chip may be faulty and needs replacement.

If the flow meter runs out of power, do I need to remove it from the pipeline?

No, you only need to unscrew the screws and remove the display panel to replace the battery inside. There’s no need to remove the entire flow meter, and no data will be lost during the battery replacement process.

How long can I maintain the flowmeter after receiving a low battery warning?

Under normal conditions, after the low battery warning appears, it is expected to last for about a week to a month. We recommend replacing the battery as soon as possible.

Why is my digital display not working or displaying incorrectly?

Please check the auto-sleep function and try replacing the battery. If neither works, the flowmeter might have water damage, which can harm the PCB. If you need a waterproof model, we recommend purchasing our waterproof flowmeter.

Why does my newly purchased flow meter have errors when measuring water?

Our flow meters are factory calibrated for fuel. If you are using it for tap water, you can manually adjust the coefficient to 1080. The adjustment steps can be found in our manual. For more precise data, you can perform a calibration.

Note: This product is not waterproof, so do not submerge it in water or expose it to rain. The liquid used in the factory tests is a Paraffin oil with a slight odor, which can be cleaned with a cleaner.
Upgrade – We upgraded the 3/4inch NPT digital turbine flow meter with a larger internal diameter so pipe threads fit fully inside for a cleaner look. More PTFE tape is needed to ensure a tight seal and prevent leaks.
EMI Protection – The 3/4 Inch diesel flow meter features EMI protection, preventing false readings caused by nearby pumps or motors. This ensures accurate and reliable measurements, even in environments with strong electromagnetic interference.
Versatile Unit Options – Switch between GAL (US Gallons), QTS, PTS, L and m³ units on the flowmeter to meet your specific measurement needs, offering flexibility and convenience. Flow range: 1-13.2 GPM (4-50 LPM), working pressure: 87 psi.
Digital LCD Display – The clear LCD screen of the 3/4 inch digital fuel meter shows real-time flow rates, accumulated totals, and instantaneous flow. It makes monitoring and recording your liquid usage easy. Single count range: 99999; Total cumulative count range: 29999999.
Accurate Measurements – Our diesel fuel meter provides precise readings with a high accuracy of ±1%, ensuring reliable data for liquids like water, diesel, gas oil, gasoline, kerosene, methanol, E15, and more.
Energy-Saving – The display screen of the fuel flow meter will turn off after 10 minutes of inactivity. It automatically turns on when there is liquid flow and can also be activated by pressing any key. Standby time: approximately 1 year.
