This mat fits my laminate floor perfectly for my special needs granddaughter. I put a comforter on top of this large mat and she is able to sit and play comfortably. When her teen sisters want to play with her or her grandparents are down on the floor, there is plenty of 'sit' room while you are at her level.

It has more friction than a normal yoga mat, feels more like raw foam, and it’s not as easy to wipe. Also it’s more blue than the picture. It works for our purposes, but I wouldn’t recommend it as an actual yoga mat though.
