Without doing any research whatsoever, these feel like they might be overpriced. Now as far as quality and construction go, these are top-notch. They're firm enough to feel completely secure while bracing yourself on them, and large enough to be quite sturdy. But even with this firmness, there is a pleasnt softness; just enough that you can ever-so-slightly indent the block with your weight. So in the end, the construction rides a very fine line between firmness, and softness, and I think balances the two expertly. So maybe this is where the justification of the price comes from; maybe other blocks just don't feel as good? If that's the case, then I guess the price is justified. If price is no object to you, then I definitely recommend these to anyone looking for some quality foam exercise blocks, otherwise you may be better off looking at other options for half the price.
